What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Material Handler position at Projob LLC?
We are currently seeking entry level and experienced distribution associates, machine operators, and material handlers to fill both 2nd and 3rd shift positions with a Steel Distribution Center in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
Position starts at $17.00/HR with a raise to $19.50/HR (plus benefits, bonuses, and differentials) after 90 days.
1st shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM
3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00PM-7:30AM
You will train on day shift and move to a 2nd or 3rd shift.
The ideal candidates should be hard workers with positive attitudes and a readiness to learn! Preference given to candidates with a good work history.
Responsibilities of Machine Operators and Material Handlers:
- Filling and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Picking/packing steel products
- Cutting/altering steel products to meet customer needs
- Operating cranes, forklifts, and process machines
- Lifting up to 75 lbs as needed
- Potential for overtime and evening hours
Requirements of Machine Operators and Material Handlers:
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent attendance
- Basic computer and math skills
- Good attitude
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, but we encourage any candidate with good work history to apply!
