Job Summary
Under direct supervision, assists with daily living activities at the person's home, in a daytime non-residential facility or a residential facility. Observes and monitors client's behavior and charts observations and incidents. Provides training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to consumers/students in hospital, residence, group home, workshop, or supported employment environment.
Responsibilities
Ensures that all applicable services are authorized prior to rendering services.
Demonstrates competence in direct service work with individuals and or their family members.
Follow through on individual treatment plans and interventions. Seek consultation and supervision in cases and participate in staffing for Peer referrals.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Certified Peer Specialist or person with two years abstinence in recovery and eligible for becoming a CARES within a year.
Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia’s Driver’s License.
