Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain/update vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and treatments as directed by the provider
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system (eClinical, Phreesia)
- Handle patient phone calls, messages, referrals, and prescription refill requests
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and cleanliness standards
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families

Qualifications
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Experience with EMR systems preferred (eClinical, Phreesia)
- Basic Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional communication and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy medical environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
