What You’ll Do
GenAI Use Cases & Product Collaboration
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to identify and ship high-impact GenAI features, including design generation, recommendations, pricing insights, and conversational agents.
• Translate product and user problems into data-driven ML and GenAI solutions.
• Clearly articulate how AI features improve user experience, accuracy, and efficiency.
Model Development & Experimentation
• Prototype, test, and iterate on ML and GenAI solutions using LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.
• Evaluate and select models (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Llama, etc.) based on performance, cost, and latency.
• Build evaluation metrics and experimentation frameworks to measure quality and impact.
Data Pipelines & Production Integration
• Build and maintain ML pipelines for training, inference, and monitoring.
• Partner with engineers to deploy models into production via APIs and services.
• Optimize workflows for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Deployment, Monitoring & Iteration
• Own model validation, testing, rollout, and post-launch improvements.
• Monitor performance, detect drift, and iterate based on real user behavior.
• Continuously improve accuracy, relevance, and latency.
Responsible AI
• Help define guardrails for privacy, bias, and hallucinations.
• Ensure AI features are safe, reliable, and aligned with user trust.
• Support responsible AI best practices as the product scales.
Communication & Collaboration
• Communicate findings and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical teammates.
• Share learnings, document experiments, and contribute to internal best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-moving startup environment.

What We’re Looking For
Required
• 0–5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI.
• Strong Python skills and experience with ML/AI libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
• Experience building, testing, or deploying models into real applications (personal projects count).
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and thrive in ambiguity.
Nice to Have
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, or embeddings.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience working on consumer products or startups.
• Strong product sense and curiosity about real-world user problems.
