Join a growing commercial sales team as an Account Executive within the Acute Care segment, covering Long Island, NY.
In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert across a comprehensive portfolio of surgical essentials and infection prevention products used in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. This is a full-line sales position focused on expanding existing accounts, increasing product utilization, and developing new business opportunities within your territory.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding product usage within existing accounts throughout Long Island
- Prospect and develop new accounts by identifying key stakeholders and qualifying opportunities
- Lead product expansion efforts within underpenetrated accounts, coordinating with internal partners to ensure clear ownership and execution
- Negotiate and close new business and expansion opportunities while building long-term relationships
- Execute health system and IDN strategies at the facility level in collaboration with strategic account teams
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, and implementation teams to drive results
- Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Leverage marketing insights such as case studies and industry materials to support sales efforts
- Build relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders including surgeons, physicians, nurses, technicians, and materials management
- Lead product demonstrations, in-services, and training to support product adoption
- Coordinate and support product trials within accounts
- Represent the organization at local, regional, and national industry events
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3–5 years of medical device sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room (O.R.) experience preferred
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures, clinical environments, and medical terminology
- Proven ability to navigate complex healthcare sales environments and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to speak to clinical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing a sales pipeline
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive results
- Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
