About the Role:

We are seeking a Multimedia Designer to bring project44’s products, technology, and vision to life through storytelling, motion, and design. You will create compelling graphics, animations, and videos that explain how our platform works, highlight our innovative roadmap, and inspire customers and partners with our north star vision. This role sits at the intersection of design, product, and storytelling — partnering cross-functionally to craft high-impact multimedia experiences across our ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Multimedia Creation

  • Create engaging multimedia content, including motion graphics, animations, and short-form videos that illustrate how project44’s products and platform work.
  • Develop visual assets and explainer videos that showcase product architecture, customer stories, and forward-looking product visions.
  • Storyboard, edit, and animate high-quality video content using Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and modern motion design tools.

  Visual Storytelling & Technical Translation

  • Collaborate with product teams to translate complex technical concepts — such as API integrations, machine learning workflows, and logistics automation — into clear, visually compelling narratives.
  • Design for clarity and impact, simplifying advanced product concepts for both business and technical audiences.
  • Work iteratively and experiment with rapid prototyping, including the use of AI-enhanced creative tools.

  Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Design, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Product Management to align multimedia content with messaging strategy and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Produce multimedia assets for multiple channels, including web, product demos, campaigns, events, and social media — ensuring brand consistency and visual fidelity.
  • Contribute to the evolution of project44’s digital motion system, visual direction, and design standards.

Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, animation, or visual communication, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion design, animation, and storytelling.
  • Proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
  • Experience using AI-enhanced creative tools such as Runway, Midjourney, Sora, or Kaiber.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into simple, engaging visual narratives.
  • Familiarity with product storytelling, including explainers, product walkthroughs, or vision videos.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to represent product interactions through motion.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and cross-functional working skills.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for visual storytelling, innovation, and design craft.

Preferred Experience:

•  Experience creating 3D animations or motion prototypes (Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar).
  • Background in visualizing product roadmaps or north star concepts for executive presentations.
  • Understanding of brand systems, design tokens, and how motion brings a design system to life.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools such as Bolt, V0, or Lovable.
  • Knowledge of JTBD or other customer-centered storytelling frameworks.
