This position requires personnel to work assigned shift schedules.

Project Service Inc (PSI) is seeking applicants for a Gate Attendant position.

The position is for an American big box retail home improvement chain, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin area. The Gate Attendant will be trained to manage yard traffic and loss prevent procedures. This position may require shift placement at locations in the Green Bay /Fox Valley on occasion.

This Position:

• Shifts include store hours between 6 am and 10 pm, includes: day shift, afternoon shift, Sunday thru Saturday.

Job Summary: As a gate attendant, you're primary responsibility access control and loss prevention of client inventory and yard traffic control.

Essential Functions:

• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions and report to proper management
• Permit authorized persons and vehicles to enter property
• Must be safety conscious
• Must possess strong organizational skills and pay attention to details
• Must be able to multitask
• Have basic computer knowledge
• Must be flexible schedule needs/coverage

Physical Requirements:

• With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.

General Requirements:

• Ability to read, comprehend all written instruction and labeling/signage associated with job
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Obtain a private security license from the state of Wisconsin
• Self motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills and demonstrates such
• Pass drug screen/test
• Pass criminal background check
• Abide by Project Service Inc. Company and Employee Policy Manual
• Follow safety and site procedures of client
• Be an “At Will” employee
