Role Description
As the Director of Fundraising on the National Board of Project Send It, you will lead strategic efforts to secure funding and build donor relationships. This volunteer role involves crafting and implementing fundraising strategies, managing communications with major donors, overseeing annual giving campaigns, and fostering partnerships to expand the organization's reach. Collaborating with board members, volunteers, and the broader climbing community, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the mission of accessibility and inclusion for all children. This is a remote position, enabling you to contribute from any location.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Major Donor relations and Philanthropy, with a strong ability to cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships.
- Exceptional Communication skills, including the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and craft compelling messaging.
- Expertise in Annual Giving campaigns and Strategic Planning to achieve fundraising goals and long-term organizational growth.
- Passion for outdoor activities, youth development, and community service is highly desirable.
- Experience in nonprofit leadership or board membership is a plus.
