Permit Coordinator

Project Resources Group is currently searching for a Permitting Coordinator in the Austin, TX market. Candidates will be responsible for the oversight, submission, and successful approval of all OSP Permit Design packages, covering all permits associated with a multitude of work scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, coordinate, process, and verify compliance with rules, regulations, and legal requirements applicable for all permits required from approving agencies for the placement and installation of fiber optic cable networks.
• Prepare and submit all required permit applications and associated documents to approving agencies.
• Make payments to the respective permitting departments with proper documentation.
• Be the key link into cities and jurisdictions.
• Tracks projects by maintaining organized records, monitoring progress, and providing updates.
• Build meaningful, long-term relationships for this market.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Three (3) to five (5) years of related permitting experience within the telecom industry.
• Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and help deliver client needs.
• Impressive ability to organize and prioritize projects.
• Interested and able to work overtime occasionally to meet project demands.
• Must be able to walk extensively, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate and write effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  
  
  

Work Environment

• This role requires you to report into our Austin, TX office Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, overtime as needed.
  
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive hourly pay of $26-28.00/hr based on experience. along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
