What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor position at Project Point of Light?
Seeking Master Level Licensed Therapist for part time work at our Shippenville/Franklin office location. Individual must be willing to work with a diverse client base. This position provides treatment and therapy for all mental and behavioral health needs through individual sessions, as well as in group settings. Our primary focus is treatment of people with trauma and past sexual offenses. This type of work can be especially difficult. If you are not open to working with these issues, please DO NOT apply.
Description: Assessment and treatment planning; Provide individual and family counseling sessions; Facilitate group counseling; Author detailed documentation of all services and interactions including case notes, treatment plans, contract notes, evaluations, etc.; Make collateral contacts with agencies and service providers; Refer clients to appropriate community resources; Communicate assessment needs to polygraphers (all under the supervision of a master's level therapist), When necessary work with the probation and system.
