Role Description
This is a full-time volunteer role located on-site in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Volunteers will assist in assembling and distributing first aid and hygiene kits, organizing health education events, and contributing to the creation of educational content, including medical blogs. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with local nonprofit organizations and community members, maintaining accurate records of distributed supplies and activities, and facilitating workshops to enhance health literacy among underserved populations.
Qualifications
- Strong organization and planning skills for managing events, resources, and maintaining accurate records
- Communication skills, including public speaking, writing, and collaborating effectively with team members and the community
- Passion for community service, health education, and improving lives in underserved populations
- Flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to supporting various projects
- Experience in nonprofit organizations, community outreach, or health education is a plus
