As a?Residential Service Coordinator Level 2, play a vital role in supporting women on a long-term recovery journey. Working on our Women's Recovery Long-Term Floor, you will help residents achieve their wellness, recovery, and self-sufficiency goals within a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ-affirming environment. Through a person-centered approach, peer support, and meaningful relationship-building, you will empower residents to maintain housing and employment, develop essential life skills, and connect with community resources that promote long-term success. 

  • Location: ?Sacred Heart Recovery Residence- 1315 W. Hunting Park Ave. Phila, PA 19140
  • Schedule:? Full-Time | Tues, Wed, Thurs (10AM-6PM) & Fri-Sat (8AM-4PM)
  • Compensation:? $23.09/hr


What You Will Do:

  • Provide initial support and orientation to new residents transitioning from homelessness, establishing trust and well-being while understanding their unique needs and barriers to design recovery plans with short and long-term goals.
  • Assist residents in crisis by assessing situations and implementing necessary interventions, while coordinating referrals and advocacy for recovery, housing, benefits, employment, education, medical care, and supportive services.
  • Collaborate with residents to identify strengths and support systems, plan and facilitate group activities, and enhance self-esteem and life skills through community-building efforts.
  • Maintain resident records as required in a timely and thorough manner, including case notes, goal plans, and assessments as required in an electronic system. Assist with housing applications and participate in meetings and training.
  • Alternate on-call responsibilities with other staff for emergencies, including by on-call phone or coming to site.

Site Specific Duties and Responsibilities AS APPLICABLE

  • Perform reception duties, including building rounds and documenting unusual activities in the shift log and Microsoft Teams chat.
  • Assist residents with meal preparation at sites with kitchens or meal services.
  • Monitor medications and help organize the medication room at sites with medication-monitoring responsibilities.

What You Will Bring

  • Certified Peer Specialist (CPS)/Certified Recovery Specialist (CPS), or two years of experience working with the target population.
  • Experience working with individuals who have experienced homelessness and/or behavioral health challenges.?
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and on-call duties.

Core Skills:

  • Good verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn computerized case management system. ?
