If you are looking for a place where you can make a difference in the life of a child, Project Harmony is looking for you.  We are seeking an experienced and committed Program Manager to join our dynamic and innovative organization.  The Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Services Program Manager will provide leadership in all areas relating to the Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Services operations. They will supervise the Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Specialists and other program staff as assigned. The Program Manager will be responsible for implementing best practices into the day-to-day work of the specialists, as well as ensuring safety of all program staff as they engage with youth and families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and leadership of the Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Services staff, following all personnel policies and procedures and conducting performance reviews
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to the operations of the Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Services Program
  • Compile monthly numbers from the Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Services Program to include case acceptance and not acceptance, clients served, cases referred to external partners, cases referred to internal therapists, etc. and report these numbers to Director
  • Promote positive collaboration with Law Enforcement, Mental Health Therapists, Juvenile Assessment Center, Child Saving Institute, Community Connections, DHHS and other agency/community partners to develop processes and maintain strong working relationships
  • Work closely with local, state and/or federal law enforcement agencies throughout trafficking investigation
  • Participate in Community Engagement and Training Opportunities to educate the community about the Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Program, missing youth behaviors and trends
  • Support the Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Services Team in achieving expected results and promote professional development; to include in the field observation of staff, attending court hearings, facilitating case reviews with professionals, meeting with youth and families to help support the specialists, preparing specialists to support youth and families through court processes- testifying, victim impact statements, and restitution, etc
  • Utilize data to determine intake team benchmarks, workload and case closure outcomes
  • Regular review of case documentation (case notes, screening assessments, safety plans and case plans) to ensure timeliness and quality of work being completed by the specialists
  • Ensure compliance with NCA Standards of Accreditation that apply to supervisees, including Advocacy, Case Review and Case Tracking in coordination with MDT Coordination 
  • Ensure culturally competent services are provided to all families we serve without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status, disability, gender or sexual orientation
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Missing and Anti-Trafficking Youth Services



Requirements

Qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required in social work, public administration or related field, Master’s degree preferred
  • Equivalent education and experience will be considered


Experience and Training

  • 2 years’ experience with child advocacy center, child welfare agency and/or related field 
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Training and experience in child abuse/neglect investigations, particularly sexual exploitation and minor sex trafficking


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice system

  • Crisis intervention and family engagement skills
  • Experience working with at-risk families
  • Knowledge and understanding of family/domestic violence, the dynamics of child abuse/neglect, and commercial child sexual exploitation
  • Knowledge of minor human trafficking dynamics and best practice interventions
  • Broad knowledge of community services and resources for minor victims of trafficking, and the ability to collaborate well with community partners
  • Knowledge and understanding of various evidence-based trauma-informed care therapy models is helpful
  • Demonstrated understanding of and ability to work with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent organization, time management and decision-making skills
  • Understanding and maintenance of clear professional boundaries
  • Strong commitment to follow code of ethics and comply with all laws, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Access
  • Must respect and maintain confidentiality

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours
  • Must submit to a thorough criminal history background check
  • Must have access to a vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Position may involve some travel, primarily within the state
