What are the responsibilities and job description for the ILST / Independent Living Skills Trainer position at Project Genesis, Inc.?
Project Genesis, Inc. is currently seeking staff to deliver services as Independent Living Skills Trainers (ILST) within our Acquired Brain Injury Program.
Work one-on-one with individuals in New Haven County to help improve their ability to live independently in the community. Provide non-medical care, supervision, and socialization in accordance with the client’s service plan.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Reliable transportation, good driving record, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
- 2 years of experience working with ABI with a High School Diploma or Equivalent, OR 1 year experience working with ABI with Bachelor's degree.

Meriden:
- ILST, Part Time, 2nd shift, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays 5p-9p or 4p-8p (12 hours).
- ILST Part Time, 1st shift, Saturdays 10a-3pm.
- ILST, Per Diem, 1st shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 8am to 3pm.
Pay: $18.00 per hour.
