What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver / Companion position at Project Genesis Inc?
Project Genesis is immediately hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, and Companions to provide compassionate non-medical support to individuals in our Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) program. We are a nonprofit organization serving adults and teens throughout Connecticut who have a wide range of disabilities.
EARN $17.00 AN HOUR!
FULL-TIME & PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE!
To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, at least 3 years of a good driving record, and proof of insurance. In addition, you must be at least at least 18 years of age and have:
- An Acquired Brain Injury and Person-Centered Certification. We can assist you with this certification.
- The ability to take a training program.
- A flexible schedule and the ability to travel to assigned areas for work.

As a Direct Support Professional, ABI Caregiver / Companion you will assist our clients with meal preparation, personal hygiene, financial management, and socialization. You will also be expected to perform light housekeeping tasks, as needed and accurately complete documentation.
