We are seeking a highly organized, dependable Missions Development Assistant to support our fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This part-time position plays an essential role in helping our Development team execute campaigns, coordinate events, steward donors, and keep projects moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Missions Development with daily administrative and fundraising activities.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns, direct mail projects, and donor communications.
- Maintain project timelines, calendars, and task lists to ensure deadlines are met.
- Prepare donor materials, sponsorship packets, and meeting folders.
- Coordinate donor visits, meetings, and event invitations.
- Respond to routine donor inquiries and assist with stewardship efforts, including thank-you calls and correspondence.
- Help plan and execute fundraising events, galas, luncheons, and community outreach events.
- Manage event logistics, including guest lists, RSVPs, seating charts, volunteers, and event-day coordination.
- Track campaign and event deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Maintain organized records, files, and development documents.
- Provide general administrative support to the Development team.
- Perform other development and office duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Professional, friendly, and service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit administration, fundraising, events
- Familiarity with donor databases or CRM software (Bloomerang experience is a plus).
- Experience coordinating events and/or volunteers.
- Passion for Project Defending Life's mission
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
