What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Based Mental Health Therapist (Elementary/ High School), Part-Time position at Project Connection?
We are looking for a part-time therapist to work on-site in one of our contracted elementary or high schools in Sandy and Draper.
Hours for this position are school hours, during the school year, with school breaks and holidays off. School Based therapists also have the option to see clients outside of school hours at our clinic in West Valley City; however, this is not required.
Project Connection is a mental health organization focused on integrative, trauma-informed care that provides individual, family and group therapy in a variety of settings. School-based therapists will provide therapy to children and their families in a dedicated school and collaborate with their school team to increase positive outcomes for clients.
Our school-based therapists:
- provide therapy to children in a school setting
- create their own schedule within school hours
- are compensated per billable hour for direct client care
- must possess strong organizational skills and be self-motivated
- must have a current license (CMHC, AMHC, LCSW, CSW, AMFT, LMFT)
- must be able to pass a background check
