Senior Brand Manager, Amazon (Apparel & Footwear)

Location: Monroe, WA. Full-time, on-site.

Company: Project Cloud

ABOUT US

Project Cloud is a U.S.-based comfort lifestyle brand building footwear and apparel designed for everyday life. We sell through Amazon and other channels, with a growing catalog across footwear, athletic shoes, and apparel.

We are looking for a senior Amazon leader to take full ownership of a defined part of that business. This is a role for someone who wants real responsibility, direct visibility with leadership, and the ability to shape how a portfolio grows.

THE ROLE

You will own a defined portfolio within our Amazon Seller Central business, primarily across footwear and apparel. You will be responsible for the full performance of your brands, including pricing, promotions, listing content, creative, advertising, catalog health, revenue, margin, and growth.

This is not a support role. You will set the strategy, manage the plan, direct the work across internal specialists, and be accountable for the results.

You will report directly to company leadership and work closely with catalog, pricing, creative, advertising, and operations teams. When there is an opportunity to grow, a listing issue affecting sales, an inventory risk ahead of a key event, or a decision that needs to be made quickly, you will own the path forward.

We are looking for someone who has managed an Amazon business at meaningful scale and understands the operating rhythm required to grow it. Footwear or apparel experience is strongly preferred. Sizing, fit, colorways, seasonality, inventory depth, and returns all matter in these categories, and we want someone who understands how to manage those realities.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

P&L, Planning, and Forecasting

• Own the P&L for your portfolio, including revenue, margin, advertising spend, and contribution.

• Build the annual plan and rolling forecast. Understand what is driving performance, explain changes clearly, and recommend the right actions.

• Lead weekly business reviews with leadership, covering results, risks, opportunities, and decisions needed.

Strategy and Growth

• Set the strategy for your portfolio, including which styles, colors, categories, and launches to prioritize.

• Build growth plans across pricing, promotions, advertising, catalog improvements, and new product launches.

• Make thoughtful pricing and markdown decisions that improve inventory health while protecting margin.

Catalog, Content, and Creative

• Own catalog quality across your portfolio, including variation families, listing accuracy, backend attributes, size charts, and customer-facing content.

• Set the standard for product detail pages, A Content, Brand Store pages, imagery, and video.

• Partner with the creative team to prioritize shoots, refreshes, and content improvements that drive conversion.

• Identify and resolve suppressed listings, stranded inventory, listing defects, and other catalog issues quickly.

Advertising

• Own the advertising strategy and budget across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP in partnership with our advertising specialists.

• Evaluate performance through profitable growth, TACoS, margin, conversion, and customer acquisition, not just top-line ad sales.

• Ensure campaigns support inventory position, pricing strategy, and the broader business plan.

Inventory and Launches

• Lead launch planning for new styles and new categories, from listing build and content through inventory positioning, advertising, and first promotions.

• Partner with operations on FBA and AWD planning to keep key sizes and colors available through launches and peak periods.

• Build plans for slow-moving and aging inventory before storage costs and margin pressure become an issue.

Team and Operating Discipline

• Set priorities for catalog, pricing, and creative specialists supporting your portfolio.

• Build clear processes, calendars, and playbooks that make the business more scalable and predictable.

• Serve as the Amazon expert for your categories, helping leadership understand what is changing on Amazon and what it means for the business.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5 or more years running brands or catalogs on Amazon Seller Central, with direct ownership of pricing, promotions, and listing content.

• You have owned a brand or portfolio on Amazon at real scale before: millions in annual sales, with the forecast and the ad budget in your hands, not just reported to you.

• Variation-heavy catalog experience, meaning size and color, the way apparel and footwear work.

• Ideally, your background is in footwear and/or apparel, and you have sold size and color driven products on Amazon before. This is the profile we are really looking for.

• P&L fluency. You can build a forecast model in Excel or Google Sheets, not just read one someone else built.

• Experience leading people, whether direct reports or a cross-functional team whose priorities you set.

• Deep Seller Central skills: flat files, variation structure, A Content, Brand Store, Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, deal setup, and hard catalog problems.

• Calm and decisive when something breaks. You have handled suppressions, account health issues, and bad inventory positions before, and you know what to do first.

• Direct communicator. You bring leadership a recommendation, not a problem list.
