What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advertising Manager - DTC position at Project Cloud?
Role Description
Project Cloud is scaling its Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business as a core pillar of our long-term brand strategy. We are hiring a DTC Advertising Manager to own the operational performance of our paid advertising platforms; including Google, Meta, TikTok, and more as we scale our DTC website.
This role will work closely with the Sr. Director of Ecommerce, who will provide strategic direction on how paid media supports the broader growth of the .com channel. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who already has real experience managing paid media budgets and wants ownership over how that spend performs.
What You'll Own
• Campaign management — day-to-day execution, optimization, and scaling of paid campaigns across all active paid media platforms
• Budget pacing — allocating and adjusting spend across platforms to maximize ROAS and efficient customer acquisition
• Targeting & creative testing — running structured experiments on audiences, bid strategy, and ad creative
• Analytics & reporting — building a reporting rhythm for our “North Star KPIs” that is clear and actionable
• Cross-functional alignment — partnering with creative and brand teams to ensure ad content both converts and reflects Project Cloud's identity/messaging
• Growth testing — identifying new channel opportunities and incremental levers as the DTC channel scales
• Calendar alignment — coordinating paid media strategy with site merchandising and promotional planning
Qualifications
• Proven experience leading an advertising team’s performance across paid media advertisers (Such as Google and Meta); ideally in an ecommerce or DTC environment
• Fluency with performance metrics — ROAS, CAC, CPC, CVR — and the ability to turn data into clear optimization decisions
• Comfortable running structured tests on creative, audience, and bid strategy
• Strong communicator — able to explain performance and strategy clearly to non-specialists
- Genuinely interested in brand, culture, and what makes a product resonate with people
