What you’ll do
- Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and well-being of client.
- Provide compassionate care for individual with developmental disabilities.
- Implement care plans tailored to client’s needs and preferences.
- Be dependable and on time each day.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring proper hygiene practices.
- Engage client in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support and communicate any changes in client conditions.
Qualifications
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is essential for ensuring client safety.
- Experience working for one year in care giving is required.
- Strong background in patient observation and monitoring to detect changes in health status.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation
- Previous Train Florida courses a PLUS
- Able to pass level ll background check
- Working with developmental disabilities a PLUS
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
