Duties
- Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or Tram
- Monitorclient's vital signs and observe for changes in health or behavior to ensure safety and well-being
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain compliance and confidentiality

- Support client to promote social engagement
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning tasks to ensure a safe environment
- Document care activities accurately
- Respond promptly to emergencies with first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring client safety at all times
- Collaborate with family members to coordinate comprehensive care

Experience
- Prior experience in caregiving is required
- Demonstrated ability to work with people with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient observation techniques

- Training in first aid, CPR certification, HIPAA compliance, and safety procedures is required
- Familiarity with care plans \ client with complex needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting client with mobility or transfers
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with client and family
