Part time (18 hours per week)
For 50 years, BEAM Early Intervention has served as a trusted resource and support model for families with infants and toddlers who have, or who are at risk for, developmental delays. We are a community-based Early Intervention program serving children from birth to age 3 in Billerica, Chelmsford, Tewksbury, Westford, Tyngsboro, Dunstable, Dracut, and Lowell.
We are currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our family-centered, multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting families,collaborating with colleagues, and promoting development through play-based, functional
intervention in natural environments.
Responsibilities
● Provide developmental and physical therapy services to infants and toddlers (0–3 years) in home, community, childcare, and center-based settings.
● Complete developmental assessments as part of an interdisciplinary team.
● Assist in the development and implementation of IFSP goals using family-centered, coaching-based practices.
● Document sessions, maintain compliance with Early Intervention regulations, and participate in team meetings.
● Collaborate closely with families, service coordinators, and other specialists (OT, SLP,SW, etc.).
● Provide parent coaching to support carryover and functional skill development in daily routines.
Qualifications
● MA Physical Therapist license required.
● Experience with infants/toddlers and/or Early Intervention preferred.
● Strong communication, collaboration, and family-engagement skills.
● Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
● A reliable vehicle and ability to travel within our service area
