Position Title: Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Alexandria, Virginia

Schedule: 15–20 hours per week

Employment Type: Hourly, Part-Time

Work Environment: In-office only (Remote Work Not Permitted)

Hourly Rate: $22-$25/Hour (Contingent Upon Experience Level)

Position Overview


Project 308 Design, PLLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our architectural and interior design staff. This role is critical to the smooth operation of the office and will assist with administrative coordination, proposal support, credential management, and expense tracking. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a professional, in-person office environment.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • General office administration and day-to-day operational support
  • Assisting with proposal writing and preparation for project pursuits
  • Coordinating with third-party vendors to schedule routine finishes and materials library updates
  • Assisting with travel planning, including airfare, hotel accommodations, and rental vehicle reservations
  • Assisting with maintaining business and personal professional licensure for staff members
  • Assisting with management and tracking of business and personal credentials for staff members
  • Assisting with recording and tracking reimbursable expenses


Qualifications


  • College degree required
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a professional office setting
  • Prior administrative experience preferred; experience in an architecture, design, or professional services firm is a plus


Work Conditions & Benefits


  • Part-time, hourly position (15–20 hours per week)
  • In-office attendance required during scheduled working hours
  • Access to building amenities, including an on-site fitness center
