We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Line Cook to bolster our kitchen brigade. This role presents an excellent opportunity within our culinary team. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Execute dishes per the head chef’s requirements and the restaurant's standards.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Ensure the preparation of dishes is timely and of the highest quality.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, ensuring clean equipment, and removing trash.
- Assist in food and supply inventory management, ensuring everything is properly stocked and stored.
- Adhere to kitchen safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Support the kitchen team in daily tasks, contributing to menu development and execution.
- Engage in ongoing training and workshops to refine skills and techniques.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a line cook or related kitchen experience is required.
- A fervent interest in culinary arts and ambition to advance in the food service industry.
- Capacity to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Team-oriented with outstanding communication abilities.
- Proficiency in English.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
