We are seeking an experienced SWIFT Developer / SWIFT Security & Compliance Engineer to join the SWIFT Development Team within CIO, partnering closely with CTO Production Support teams and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, supporting, securing, and maintaining SWIFT infrastructure and applications while ensuring compliance with enterprise security, regulatory, and operational standards.
This role requires strong expertise in SWIFT technologies, payment messaging formats, infrastructure support, vulnerability management, and secure application delivery within enterprise banking environments.
- Design, develop, configure, and support SWIFT-based solutions to meet business and compliance requirements.
- Install, patch, troubleshoot, maintain, and test SWIFT products including:
- SWIFT Alliance Gateway
- SWIFT Alliance Access
- SWIFT Web Platform
- SWIFT Net Link
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies including story refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and backlog discussions.
- Develop proof-of-concepts to validate architecture, reduce implementation risks, and evaluate new technologies.
- Implement solutions and perform unit testing aligned with acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
- Support SWIFT payment operations and messaging infrastructure across enterprise environments.
- Manage and track compliance deliverables related to security, risk, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Perform vulnerability management activities including identification, remediation coordination, and tracking of security findings.
- Support secure coding initiatives, bug fixes, and application security remediation efforts.
- Partner with infrastructure, risk, GIS, audit, and vendor teams to ensure compliance adherence.
- Maintain application data in systems of record and support infrastructure-related requests.
- Assist in disaster recovery exercises, technical recovery planning, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to integration, regression, and performance testing efforts.
- Prepare deployment, maintenance, operational, and support documentation.
- 5–10 years of experience in the technology industry.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting SWIFT infrastructure and applications.
- Strong experience with:
- SWIFT Alliance Gateway
- SWIFT Alliance Access
- SWIFT Web Platform
- SWIFT Net Link
- Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging formats and SWIFT protocols.
- Experience with vulnerability identification, remediation, and compliance tracking.
- Knowledge of Information Security standards and cybersecurity practices.
- Experience working with AiX or Linux operating systems.
- Experience supporting Agile delivery environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Salary : $80 - $85
