About the Role
- We are looking for a talented Generative AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using large language models, generative AI techniques, and modern machine-learning technologies.
- The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills, practical experience with LLMs, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop generative AI applications using large language models and multimodal models.
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, AI agents, and conversational applications.
- Develop prompt-engineering strategies, evaluation frameworks, and model fine-tuning workflows.
- Integrate commercial and open-source models through APIs and machine-learning frameworks.
- Work with vector databases, embeddings, document-processing pipelines, and knowledge bases.
- Develop scalable, secure, and production-ready AI services and APIs.
- Evaluate model performance for accuracy, relevance, latency, cost, safety, and reliability.
- Implement monitoring, observability, guardrails, and responsible-AI practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts.
- Conduct research and stay current with developments in LLMs, foundation models, agentic systems, and AI infrastructure.
- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture decisions, testing, and code reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- [2–5] years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or AI development.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with software development best practices.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Experience working with APIs, microservices, REST, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma, or pgvector.
- Understanding of machine-learning concepts, model evaluation, and data-preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, testing, containers, and deployment workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience fine-tuning or adapting foundation models using techniques such as LoRA or PEFT.
- Experience with AI agents, tool calling, function calling, and workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of multimodal AI, speech models, computer vision, or document intelligence.
- Experience with cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, or Google Cloud AI.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, MLflow, model serving, and MLOps.
- Knowledge of AI security, privacy, governance, bias mitigation, and content-safety practices.
- Experience building enterprise-grade AI products or customer-facing applications.
- Contributions to open-source projects, technical publications, or AI research.
