Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing primary and urgent care team in Henderson, Nevada. This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering high-quality patient-centered care to individuals of all ages.
The nurse will work closely with providers and medical staff to support daily clinic operations, patient flow, and urgent care services.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
- Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures
- Administer medications, injections, vaccines, and treatments as ordered
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Respond to urgent patient needs and maintain efficient patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and stocking of exam rooms and clinical areas
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with providers and front office staff to ensure excellent patient care
QualificationsRequired
- Current Nevada LPN or RN license in good standing
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- EMR experience
Preferred
- Previous experience in urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care
- Experience with injections, IVs, blood draws, and triage
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
