Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Part Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Defiance, OH. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive experience for our patients and home health agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate daily with office staff to accept new patients, complete paperwork, and turn in payroll
- Keep open communication with patients and home health agencies to promote a positive and caring experience
- Facilitate communication with Lead Occupational Therapist to manage patient care
- Completion of in-home therapy service, education to patients and caregivers, and diligent detailed notes on all paperwork
- Attend meetings as needed with the Bryan therapy team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant License for the state of Ohio
- Ability to travel to patient's home or facility
- Strong communication skills
- Home healthcare experience preferred
