Looking for compassionate caregivers!
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized assistance and support to clients who need help with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will promote the client’s independence, safety, comfort, and overall well-being in their home or care facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, engagement, and social activities.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Medication reminders according to the care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Support clients with transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities (if applicable).
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition to the supervisor or healthcare professional.
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Ensure safety and comfort by following infection control and emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide (HHA), or certified nursing assistant (CNA).
- Ability to lift, move, and assist clients safely.
- Strong communication, patience, and empathy skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Working Conditions:
- Work may involve standing, walking, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility.
- Flexible schedule — may include weekends, evenings, or holidays depending on client needs.
- Work performed in client homes, residential facilities, or assisted living communities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
