Kids Are Great Dental in Mount Kisco is hiring a Pediatric Dental Assistant!
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enjoys working with children; good communication skills with parents.
- Perform fourhanded dentistry and suction for dentist.
- Cleans, stock and maintain operatory room including dental chairs, filters, and all other systems to ensure they are prepared and ready to be utilized.
- Take x-rays.
- Pre-wash and check instruments for sharp and waste before sterilization.
- Adheres to Infection Control in utilizing the hand washing technique before/after patient contact.
- Ensure all current consent forms are available for doctor’s review.
- Monitor supplies and equipment and report problems to the practice manager in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School or College Diploma
- 1 year of experience is preferred- willing to train.
CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS, OR LICENSURE REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB
Dental Assistant Certification is preferred (e.g. DANB - Dental Assisting National Board)
