Customer Service Executive
The Company
Our business is dedicated to serving homeowners with great warranty products to cover the worst home emergencies that can happen. We offer coverages that give up to $100,000 in benefits if a serious environmental event happens on the homeowner property. We are based in a cool building in downtown Norwalk close to the train station and restaurants.

The Role
You will be:
· Handling inbound calls from customers seeking to:
o Join or renew
o Advise us of changes in their situation
o Asking questions about our products or their coverage
· Handling inbound calls from our B2B partners and prospects professionally and routing them optimally
· Following up on inquiries and outbound calling
· Performing back-office work on workflow exceptions, mail handling.
· On-site attendance in Norwalk office mandatory
The Ideal Person
Our customer service executives need to possess:
· Hunger to learn about the products and industry
· Comfort with new technologies – experience with the Zoho One suite would be a plus but not essential
· Team spirit
· Willingness to do tasks outside this job description - we do not operate in silos
· Patient mild demeanor – the customers calling in may be having a bad day
· Attention to detail and recordkeeping
· Delivery on promises – if we commit something to a customer we must follow through
· Ability to balance the needs and wants of the caller with the frameworks and policies in which our business operates
The Compensation
· The role will pay in the range $27 to $30 (depending on skills, fit and experience) per hour worked.
· Likely 20-30 hours a week on a shift pattern
· This is a non-exempt / non-salaried role
