What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saviynt Operations / IAM (Identity Access Management) Analyst position at Progspectra?
The Role
We are looking for a Saviynt specialist who is ready to dive into daily operations. This is a high-volume, execution-focused role. You won’t be designing high-level strategy or building new connectors from scratch—we have a separate team for that. Instead, you will be the person who ensures the system actually works for our users every day.
If you know Saviynt well enough to troubleshoot provisioning failures and fix technical rules without needing an SOP for every step, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do Every Day- Solve Problems: Resolve incident tickets related to access issues, provisioning failures, and configuration snags.
- Manage Access: Create and update technical rules, policies, enterprise roles, and group membership logic.
- Grant Permissions: Manage standard and privileged access requests.
- Troubleshoot the "Why": Find out why Saviynt isn't creating an account, why entitlements aren't being granted, or why a ServiceNow request didn't flow through to provisioning.
- Fix the Logic: Identify and fix technical rules that aren't firing correctly.
This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who is productive on Day 1.
- Deep Saviynt Experience: You must be able to configure Saviynt to fix live issues.
- Technical Logic: You understand the difference between technical rules and user update rules and how to apply them.
- Active Directory: Experience managing dynamic AD group memberships through Saviynt is a must.
- Real-World Troubleshooting: You should be able to walk us through specific production issues you have personally resolved—not just tickets you escalated to a different team.
- This is not a strategic engineering or connector-development role.
- You will not be building new connectors or doing advanced solution design.
- This is a "keep-the-lights-on" role focused on operational excellence and ticket resolution.
