Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Conversational ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a knack for fostering engaging and interactive conversations in English. As a Conversational ESL Teacher, you will be responsible for conducting conversational classes to help non-native English speakers improve their speaking and listening skills in an enjoyable and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive conversational lessons that cater to students’ individual needs and language levels.
• Create a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere that promotes active participation and effective communication among students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching resources, including audio and visual aids, to enhance the learning experience.
• Facilitate stimulating discussions on a wide range of topics, such as current events, culture, travel, and everyday life, to improve students' fluency and vocabulary.
• Provide constructive feedback and corrective guidance to students to improve their pronunciation, grammar, and overall language proficiency.
• Monitor students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish is required. Our school works primarily with Spanish-speaking students who are learning English, so strong communication skills in both languages are essential to effectively support and communicate with our students.
• Excellent command of the English language, with a strong emphasis on spoken English.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, adaptable, and passionate about teaching English to diverse learners.
• Familiarity with technology and online teaching platforms is an asset.
