What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Coordinator position at Progressive?
Job Summary
This role is fully competent in land surveying with a primary area of focus on Electric Transmission and Substation engineering projects.
Delivers advanced level knowledge and leadership to co-workers and all project stake holders with added expectations and responsibility in technical management and coordination between internal and external resources along with increased accountability for Survey contractor Quality Control.
- Full knowledge of Virginia and North Carolina State Land Survey Regulations
- Strong knowledge of CAD
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Strong knowledge of construction stakeout
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to analyze drawings and specifications and make precise decisions Strong personal computer skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Global Positioning System practices and procedures
- Working knowledge of various GIS software and applications
- Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment.
