Project Administrator - Transmission Construction
Location: Hybrid in Lexington, KY
Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Administrator to provide administrative and project support for the Transmission Construction team. This role will be responsible for processing contractor invoices, creating and managing purchase orders, supporting project documentation, and assisting with day-to-day administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have construction-related experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and track contractor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Create, submit, and manage purchase orders (POs).
- Provide administrative support to the Transmission Construction team.
- Maintain project records, documentation, and reporting.
- Support financial tracking and project-related data management.
- Assist with system and process transitions, including the migration from Oracle to SAP.
- Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction administration, project coordination, or a related field.
- General construction industry experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Oracle and/or SAP ERP systems required.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Located near or able to work in a hybrid capacity from the Lexington, KY office.
- Experience supporting utility, infrastructure, or transmission construction projects.
