Power BI Analyst
The Transmission Project Management Execution Team is seeking a Power BI Analyst to support reporting, dashboard administration, and data analytics initiatives. This individual will work closely with the team's BI lead to troubleshoot reporting issues, maintain and enhance existing dashboards, develop SQL queries, document reporting processes, and support data warehouse organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform tools, along with a strong desire to learn and grow within a business intelligence environment. Experience with Primavera P6 and Snowflake is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and troubleshoot Power BI dashboards, reports, and data flows.
- Investigate reporting failures and data quality issues.
- Modify existing reports and develop new reporting features and metrics.
- Write and maintain SQL queries to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Assist with documentation, data warehouse organization, and reporting best practices.
- Work with project and financial data sourced from P6 and other enterprise systems.
- Partner with the BI lead to learn reporting architecture and support long-term BI development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data reporting concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Snowflake is preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn quickly and grow into a broader BI development role.
Location: Louisville, KY. Preferred schedule is 3 days onsite per week, though mostly remote candidates will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates located within driving distance of Louisville for occasional onsite collaboration.
