Designer (Electrical or Mechanical)

We have an opportunity for Designers (Electrical & Mechanical) in Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed design drawings for electrical or mechanical equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Select materials and create material lists based on project requirements.
• Participate in design conferences and field trips to determine project needs.
• Collaborate with engineers and operational teams to define project scopes.
• Report design status to project engineer and manager.
• Perform electrical or mechanical calculations and ensure designs meet specifications and safety regulations.
• Assist engineers in resolving design issues and developing solutions.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
• Experience with 3D AutoCAD (6 months minimum)
• Proven ability to work with multiple teams
• Associates degree in design
• Experience with MCC, Switch Gears, and building control panels
• Extroverted communicators, would rather have someone over communicate rather than under communicate
• Team player, someone who wants to jump in and be part of the team
