The Progressive Surface Office Manager will oversee administrative operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will support multiple departments, including manufacturing, HR, purchasing, & finance. The ideal candidate will streamline office functions, foster collaboration across departments, & ensure smooth operational workflows to support the company’s manufacturing goals.
Office Administration:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, & facilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors & customers.
- Coordinate & manage lunch orders for customers, ensuring timely delivery, accurate preferences, & a positive dining experience during visits or meetings.
- Prepare & track compile detailed monthly sales reports.
Departmental Support:
- Human Resources: Support onboarding, training coordination, employee record management & recruiting.
- Finance: Assist with invoice processing, accounts receiving, & budget oversight for office operations.
- Purchasing: PO creation, open order follow up, non-conformance tracking, & verifying & entering information.
- Manufacturing: Create & assemble professional booklets for customers, ensuring accuracy, quality, & alignment with company branding & client specifications.
Communication and Coordination:
- Coordinate & prepare materials for meetings, presentations, & reports for various teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of company updates, policies, & notices to staff.
Compliance and Safety:
- Maintain records related to safety compliance & employee certifications.
- Ensure adherence to manufacturing & administrative compliance requirements, including environmental, health, & safety standards.
- Prepare documents for EHS.
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong organizational & time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks & priorities.
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Paylocity, & ERP systems.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations & compliance documentation.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations & manufacturing compliance standards.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in an administrative/office manager role
- College associate degree preferred
