What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Safety Specialist position at Progressive Safety Management?

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, show strong attention to detail, and most importantly, believe in a team-oriented approach. This position will require construction safety experience and a motivated individual to work independently managing their own time and schdule.
What You Will Do:
• Interact with Project site personnel, project owner's representatives, subcontractors, suppliers
• Convey safety and health requirements to all new personnel
• Implement project-specific Accident Prevention Plan for work-in-progress
• Prepare daily safety narrative, identifying observations, and any noted deficiencies
• Conduct daily Toolbox Talks
• Conduct and lead incident investigations
• Conduct job site safety inspections
• Conduct safety training
• Maintain the required on-site safety records for inspection
What We Are Seeking:
• 1 - 3 years Construction Safety Experience on large high-rise projects
• Safety Professional Certification preferred
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction
• CPR / First Aid (current certificate)
• Competent Person Certification(s)
• Driver License
Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test.
