What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Banker I position at Progressive Ozark Bank?
Job Summary:
This individual is responsible for the efficient operation of the retail bank lobby. The candidate selected will ensure clients are served promptly and accurately while assisting the department staff in completing all essential functions of a retail branch bank including but not limited to cash handling, balancing, account opening, client transactions, risk mitigation, and product knowledge and training. The individual will also provide leadership in the delivery of quality client service in accordance with the organization’s defined quality service standards. Additional duties may include assisting the Market Manager with monitoring reports, training, and other duties as assigned.
Hours: Monday – Saturday based on the bank’s hours of operation.

- Hours subject to shift coverage adjustments
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- One-year retail banking experience preferred
- Working knowledge of personal computers and cash handling
- Knowledge of bank services and products a definite plus. Ability to market and cross-sell products to customers.
- Good problem solving and decision-making ability.
- Good oral and written communication skills. Good organizational skills.
