Maintenance Coordinator

The Maintenance Work Order Coordinators provide professional customer service by reviewing and addressing maintenance requests in a timely manner and routing them to the appropriate teams throughout the Property Management and Facilities Operations departments.

This role is also responsible for ensuring that any building violations are addressed by the dedicated teams and vendors within the Organization, while making sure the supplies and equipment required for our maintenance teams to maintain all buildings and units up to code are always available.

This role reports directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager.

Job Duties:

• Answer all incoming service request from building tenants in a timely manner
• Handle work order request for units that require repairs to ensure units are maintained and repaired according to federal, state and NYC building codes
• Work closely with property managers, superintendents, and vendors to ensure the completion of any required work within the units
• Investigate and work with all required parties to address and solve any city-issued building violations
• Order and keep inventory of building maintenance supplies on a monthly basis, as well as keep track and approve any incoming invoices

Requirements:

• Must possess 2-5 years of experience in property management, facilities operations, maintenance operations or similar field
• Solid experience using MS Outlook, Excel and Word
• Prior experience using a Property Management software
• Bilingual, English and Spanish
