The Shipping and Receiving Clerk receives materials from both internal and external suppliers. Responsible for the distribution of received materials to designated areas such as project shelves, departments, or project sites. Coordinates and participates in the transportation of materials between buildings.

JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk receives materials from both internal and external suppliers. Responsible for the distribution of received materials to designated areas such as project shelves, departments, or project sites. Coordinates and participates in the transportation of materials between buildings.
Essential Functions
- Offloading and loading shipments.
- Verify data on packing slips match product received.
- Inspect incoming product for damage, notifies proper personnel.
- Organize system build components on Job kitting carts.
- Manages the internal inventory stock area.
- Operate forklift (training provided).
- Observe safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Back-up for Logistics Coordinator (FedEx, UPS Shipping).
- Plan and prepare job kitting carts for new jobw.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School degree or GED, required
- 2 years’ work experience required
- Previous receiving experience required
- Forklift experience required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Teamwork Skills
- Problem Solving
- Time Management Skills
- Ability to work under stress
- Ability to plan and organize
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to use discretion and judgement
