Software Test Engineer
We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of mission-critical software systems in a secure, high-performance environment. This role will focus on developing automated test solutions, validating system functionality, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual software test plans and test cases.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
- Validate software against functional and system requirements.
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects while tracking test progress and results.
- Partner with software developers and cross-functional teams to improve product quality and test coverage.
- Recommend and implement testing tools, processes, and best practices.
- Participate in software development, risk assessment, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Experience designing, developing, and executing software test plans and automated testing solutions.
- Programming experience with Python.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with software development and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
- Familiarity with Docker, cloud technologies, and Linux/UNIX environments.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications or complex codebases.
