What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Coordinator or Senior Payroll Coordinator position at Progressive Insurance?
As a payroll coordinator or senior payroll coordinator, you’ll provide support for the payroll function for all Progressive employees. In this role, you’ll process and issue employee payments, severance packages, terminations, workers’ compensation, and expense reimbursements. You’ll log and file documents, process overpayment recoveries, garnishments, miscellaneous deductions, and file records. You’ll also respond to employee inquiries, as well as edit, confirm, and reconfirm payroll data.
This is a hybrid position requiring two days in office each week at Progressive Headquarters (300 N. Commons Blvd., Mayfield Village, OH 44143).

Must-have Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and 1 year customer service experience
- One or more years of Payroll experience.
- Experience with the Workday platform.
- Experience using the ADP SmartCompliance tool
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- $21.44 - $29.42/hourly depending on position level
- Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
