Job description
We are looking for a competent Office Assistant / Customer Service Rep to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail for this position. This position requires excellent phone skills. Our company has a high call volume, 80% of the job is answering and directing phone calls as well as scheduling appointments for sales reps. We also have a walk-in customer base that this position is the first point of contact.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Office Manager as needed.
- Help maintain office organization
- Walk in customer sales
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Perform receptionist duties when needed
- Perform Customer Service as needed for walk in customers
Skills
- Experience in administrative/customer service role
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Online is necessary
- Working knowledge of office equipment ( Copier and Fax)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
