Employment Coordinator
Reports To: Program Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Summary:
- Employment Coordinators provide direct employment coordination services to participants under the Workforce Solutions program. This role delivers outreach, intake, job placement support, training workshops, and case management while maintaining compliance with program requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct client outreach, intake interviews, and individual needs assessments.
- Provide case management support including resume development, job coaching, and referrals.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to identify placement opportunities.
- Facilitate employment workshops, job fairs, and community events.
- Monitor participant progress and provide follow-up support.
- Maintain accurate records, data entry, and program reporting.
- Support compliance and security requirements for all participants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) in Workforce Development, HR, or related field.
- 2 years' experience in workforce, employment services, or related area.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with community outreach or job placement preferred.
- Previous National Guard experience is preferred but not required.
Compliance Requirements:
- Must complete OPSEC Level I and AT Level I training within 30 days.
- Must pass background check and credentialing requirements.
