Responsibilities:
- Conduct first aid training classes for individuals and groups
- Develop and implement lesson plans for first aid courses
- Teach participants how to administer CPR and other life-saving techniques
- Provide instruction on proper first aid procedures for various injuries and emergencies
- Demonstrate and educate participants on the use of first aid equipment and supplies
- Ensure a safe learning environment during training sessions
- Evaluate participants' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Stay updated on the latest first aid techniques and guidelines
Requirements:
- Certification as a First Aid Instructor or willingness to become certified
- Strong knowledge of first aid procedures and techniques
- Experience in teaching or adult education is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively educate and engage participants in a classroom setting
- Proficient in public speaking and delivering presentations
- Ability to swim and possess lifeguard certification (preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and course preparation
