Key Responsibilities:
- Support physical therapy treatment for patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
- Monitor clinic patients and assist therapists with treatment needs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including patient registration, data entry, and file maintenance.
- Escort patients as needed and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
- Prepare equipment and supplies for patient use.
- Conduct routine cleaning and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
- Inventory management and supply ordering.
- Cleanliness and organization of work areas before, during, and after shifts.
Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An interest in physical therapy, kinesiology, or related fields.
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to employment; maintain current certification(s).
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the assigned shift.
- The ability to lift, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with computer software and databases.
