Progressive Eyecare in South Jordan, UT is hiring a full-time Eye Care Technician – Optometric Assistant to join our friendly and professional eyecare team. PAY: $16–$20 per hour, depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school degree or equivalent
- English fluency, but Spanish fluency is a plus!
- Computer proficiency and typing skills
- Ability to work on your feet throughout your shift

- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work Saturdays and some evenings
Eye care or medical assisting experience would be preferred, but we will train the right person.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF EYE CARE TECHNICIAN - OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT
This full-time healthcare position requires some evening and Saturday availability. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 am–6:30 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am–3:00 pm
As our Eye Care Technician - Optometric Assistant, you'll greet patients, gather their medical history, and assist with treatment plans. You'll perform preliminary eye tests and support the optometrist during specialized exams. Every day, you'll help create a smooth, welcoming experience for patients while delivering high-quality care with professionalism and empathy.
