Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our physical therapist owned private practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with a focus on outpatient orthopedic injuries. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, utilizing various therapeutic techniques, to enhance patient recovery and mobility. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy and physical therapy practices. Our practice is PT owned with no corporate influence. Hours would be 30-35 hours/ week
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient assessments.
- Use of EMR, specifically WEBPT
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
- Communication with other physical therapist and staff pertaining to patient care.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physical therapy modalities, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Experience outpatient settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
